A lot of technology is used to make MeowFire. The MeowTech Blog is where we share some technological interest that we do not want to forget or thing from which others may benefit.
MeowTech Blog shares tips, tricks and lessons learned about technologies that range from 3D Printing to Sewing… and of course Cat Whispering. As meowspurration challenges us, crafting new products and/or cat demanded purrfection, this blog shares some of our current solutions:
- 3D printing, aka Additive Manufacturing – If you thought that cats were a handful, we prototype and manufacture our products in house using CoreXY printers running Klipper firmware.
- Linux – The Cats demand that we use Linux as our OS of choice, but do they ever put paws on the keyboard in a helpful way, No!
- Sewing – this technology uses some impressive hardware where the cats are more interactive managing threads.
- Quilting – Sleeping takes up 1/3 of human lives and at least 2/3 of a cats life, you might as well be comfortable.
- Home Catomation – Sharing your living space with the superior intellect of cats creates unlimited opportunities to enhance the living space for all.

background paper page holder
When taking photos of smaller parts sometimes you only need a curved sheet of paper as a background. I try to get the cats to act as a background paper page holder for me, but I need at least 2 of them to hold each end and that is asking a bit too much. So…
